After several years focused on the design and oversight of studies in land development and environmental protection—including environmental impact assessments and hazard studies for projects across various sectors—and with extensive experience as a senior executive (General Director), I transitioned to higher education and scientific research. This shift allowed me to pursue a doctorate in science while contributing to other research areas.
I bring over 15 years of experience in information and communication sciences, including hands-on experience as a scientific and generalist journalist for print media and an economic news agency. Currently, I teach journalism at all academic levels and cover my specialized fields.
My expertise includes:
- Land Development & Urban Planning: Specializations in transportation, health geography, urban climate adaptation, resilience, public-private partnerships (PPP), risk management, and social acceptability.
- Risk and Crisis Communication: Extensive experience in managing web content and providing training on risk communication.
- Higher Education & Research: Skills in teaching, scientific research, quality assurance, and university administration.
